What forms of payments to do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including American Express, international wire transfers and cheques in three currencies: British pounds sterling, U.S. dollars and Euros. Currencies payable are indicated for each school. If paying by cheque or bank transfer, please remit in the currency indicated for the school. If paying by credit card, your credit card issuer will convert, if necessary, to your home currency and may charge a small commission. Please note that we add a three percent surcharge to the total amount due for credit card payments.

What is your privacy policy?
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other companies, except to the provider of your selected course. We use the information we collect about you to process your bookings with the school. With your permission, we will keep you up to date via email about services or special offers we think you will find valuable.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary depending on the course. Please read closely the terms and conditions featured on individual course pages and booking form.

How long does it take to confirm a class?
After you have submitted the registration information for a particular school, we will check availability of the course and respond within 48 hours with payment details, providing the school is able to confirm within that time. Reservations are guaranteed upon receipt by us of your deposit.

Do you accept international bookings?
We accept course bookings from anywhere for any of our courses. Remember, however, that we do not make any travel arrangements; these are your responsibility. Making course reservations internationally will affect money transfer times from your bank to ours in London and we can only confirm bookings once we receive the your payment.

Do you arrange transportation and travel?
We do not arrange or reserve any travel (air, land or sea) to any destination or particular school. You will have to make all travel arrangements directly. Some of the schools and hotels include transfer from airport or train stations; please check the individual school description.

Can I bring a non-cooking partner?
Yes, all hotels and most cooking schools accommodate accompanying partners. Individual school booking forms have a place to specify this request. Please see reduced fees for non-cooking partners on the individual school pages.

Can you arrange for private group or corporate bookings?
Absolutely! We welcome group bookings for a group of friends, club or corporate activities, or even private classes. We can tailor a group programme that better suits your desires, based on length of programme, activities, specific recipes, et cetera. Please contact us at events@gourmetontour.com.

Do you issue gift certificates?
Yes! Gift certificates are a great way to surprise someone with an experience they will never forget. The certificate can be personalised with a special message and sent to the recipient as an attractive gift pack. You don’t have to worry about postage—we’ll deliver certificates free of charge and ensure that they arrive promptly. The gift can be for a specific programme featured on our site, bearing no monetary value so your recipient won’t know how much you spent. Will I be certified after taking a course?
No. The featured courses are recreational and do not cater towards certification in becoming a professional chef. However, many schools will present you with their own certificate upon completion of a course.

Can you help me to decide on a course?
Still undecided? Let us know what kind of a course you are looking for, length of stay, country or region, and preferred dates. Send us your enquiry to ideas@gourmetontour.com and we will cook something up for you.

How far in advance can I make a booking?
Most courses are scheduled a calendar year in advance. If the dates are featured on our site, they are bookable. Popular schools and seasons get booked up quickly, thus we recommend making reservations as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Can I book a course at the last minute?
Yes, if there is still space available. Full payment is required to ensure reservations.

Do you offer any daily classes?
Some hotels and schools (in Paris, for example) offer daily classes.
